share data to support better planning and delivery
improve communication between GPs and hospitals
connect information systems across healthcare
make it easier for people to get the care they need
test and improve new ways of delivering care
focus on prevention and early treatment
support healthcare workers in all settings
involve patients and clinicians in improving services
improve health outcomes for disadvantaged groups, including First Nations people.
